Wow! I was utterly shocked today when I saw a comment in my GB that Miss_LolitaF has decided to leave Stardoll. If you don't know who she is...she was the owner of Big Brother Stardoll and The Stardoll Shiner. I'm not sure why Lolita made this sudden decision to leave with so many big projects on the horizon, but maybe she will decide to return.
I just think it's so sad. Looking thru my friends list and the followers list, I have noticed so many names that are no longer on Stardoll anymore. This is part of the reason I have been trying to increase activity. :(
I know that I will prob leave soon too. I have been thinking that this may be my last year , but who knows. It's always hard to let go for long ;)

I've also thought about the future of stardoll. I'm mean it's pretty new so a lot of the "original" members are still active. But what will happen in 2, 5 even 10 years from now? stardoll's already changed a lot in the last 4 years, I can't imagine what it will be like in the long run. Yet somehow I can still imagine myself, in collage or maybe even after still going on stardoll every once and a while. I'd like to think that some of my old friends would still be on.
and think about it, the longer you stay, the more fame you get: and that's what it's all about, isn't it?

yes I meant the last part of my last comment sarcastically (: It's difficult to convey that on the internet. I've just always found it strange that the stardoll motto is "fame fashion and friends". No fun? I totally agree that the fun is the best part! And the friends, but they're kind of a package who'd have fun by themselves. that's why I hope people stay on stardoll.
First of all: I'd like to apologize to Jenna and the staff. School has just started and I neglected this blog and Stardoll. But now I'm sort of settled in and I will try to be active. Hope this blog won't close. :( ( it's a big part of the reason I'm still on SD. )

I've been on Stardoll for almost two years now, sometimes I just feel like quitting and living my life. You can't stay on this site forever.
And I agree with liajm, "fame, fashion and friends" - no fun. Stardoll is all about expressing yourself and being creative, not just about fame.
We can all agree that one day, we'll all be leaving for good.
Alot of my best friends have been leaving the site lately, it's really disheartening. I've gotten used to knowing I'll have certain people I can always check in with and have be there to laugh/vent/escape real life with, and them moving on definitely makes me mope a little. The people I've met through this site have definitely been/continue being the biggest reason for me to go on every day.
It's sad Lolita left, but I'm sure she wouldn't just drop everything without a major reason. She was always so on top of everything and really dedicated, I just hope that everything in her life is going well
I hope her life goes well and she gets everything she wants.♥

I saw on her Skype status that "I am leaving Stardoll and all my blogs and rares will die with me," When I asked her why, she didn't reply, so I figured she might not want to talk about it, or she's simply had enough of Stardoll.
Personally, and this is coming from my point of view only, I think that she's leaving because of all the stuff people say to her. They sometimes forget that she is a real person with real feelings, and that she's not just a bunch of pixels in real life. She is, again my point of view only, quite nice and kind. She's made mistakes and everybody has. She's not perfect and nobody is. The comments people sometimes throw at her seem really hurtful. It's why I chose her as the Icon for my new project.
I think she'll be greatly missed. People leave all the time but come back, and this just depends on what the reason for her leaving
Believe it or not, I can see myself on Stardoll in five years time. Maybe not as active, but still here. I've personally never wanted to be famous on Stardoll.
Jenna, here's hoping you don't leave soon :) Stardoll's Most Wanted wouldn't be the same without you running it.

I think she is leaving because clearly & truthfully she was being bullied by a lot of people, from the way some of them talk/write/complain about her. She may be a bit over the top but I think it could be jealousy as she has been on stardoll for only a year & she can afford a lot of items & is known by a lot of people. The comments people make about her are too harsh. She's deleted her blog as well.
I mean some sad people made a blog(which makes no sense) about her! That's scary enough to leave. Stardoll is about fun not making horrible comments about people. If someone annoys you just ignore them.

And to Milena, it wasn't selfish at all. And she has her reasons.
I'm going to miss her so much.. she was one of my closest friends. But I understand her instinct. I tried leaving stardoll a few months ago. I thought it would be best just to suddenly and make it easier for myself. But I couldn't. I came back again the next week because I missed actually reading all the stardoll blogs so much (more than missing stardoll itself).
I have nothing bad to say about Lolita but I think she left to escape from giving her project's prizes. As in Lipstick Magazine she said that the 500th follower would receive a SS code, then when it was like with 480 followers she deleted it..
Now she leaves her Big Brother Stardoll's contestants behind without a prize for their work.. it's not fair at all.
Btw I think she will be back.

I don't know why people leave Stardoll. It's like a work, an obligation, which is weird. That's why I created Rehab Center - it was with that point.
She will be missed.
I was one of the first ones to get know about this, I truly hope she will come back, TSS and BBS won't be the same without her, whole stardoll fame world won't be the same...
Though now many of my friends leave, I don't know for how long I will stay, without friends stardoll is worthless waste of time - you can be extremely creative, but if you don't have 'fame' - many visitors who will say that they like your outfit and personality or the trust-able friends with who you can talk about everything and have safe selling deals - without it all stardoll is just empty place.
We will all leave once,I respect her decision ;/

Yesits a sad fact. I've been really active on Stardoll since i joined in 2007, but I'll start to gradually be less active and by the year after, i'll prob leave Stardoll. This is because of exams and i assume this is why most ppl are leaving Stardoll. It is hard to go on online with exams on but hopefully. every once in a while, i can log on to a website that i truly love to imerse myself in
